The Industrial Management Department (IMD) of the Oriental Institute of Technology (OIT) was established in 1973. It has earned affirmation and praise from the industry and business community in Taiwan, thanks to the diligent efforts and outstanding achievements by teachers, students, and alumni of the department.

The goal of IMD is to educate and equip students with solid theoretical knowledge and the practical experience to become business decision-makers and/or operation process managers in various levels. We guide students to bring out the spirits of the OIT motto: Honesty, Diligence, Simplicity, Cautiousness, and Innovation.
